I was trained in London at the school run by Dilys and Walter Carrington,
who is one of the 'first generation' of teachers trained by Alexander. All teachers are required to complete a three year, full-time,
training course: I completed my training in 1984. As well as a private practice, I have also taught at the Royal National Theatre and
in the Music Department at Westminster Boy's School, where I particularly saw the value of catching habits of effort and tension as
early as possible. Young people can often be discouraged from pursuing a skill through these habits undermining their confidence and
enthusiasm, and preventing them from realising their full potential.

Lessons last for 30 minutes, at a cost of £25. As well as normal
working hours, I also teach a number of evenings, and Saturday mornings.
